The staff was exceptional (efficient, courteous, professional, but quite warm) in their attention to every need: from the people who greeted our cab as we arrived (past midnight) and the wonderful ones who were always ready to assist with cabs and with umbrellas, to the lovely front desk folks, to the room service, to the staff at The Brasserie (David was our waiter and was a joy).The food was delicious in both the late dining and in the restaurant. The facilities were superb. I have been going to Chicago for many, many years and I have stayed in tons of hotels and in my book at this time, Waldorf Astoria is the best bar none! Oh and I just love the beautiful scent that greets guests as we enter the lobby! I enjoyed every second of my stay and will DEFINITELY come back.

I have stayed in the original Waldorf in NYC many years ago and I am so glad to have had another amazing experience at a Waldorf. A special thanks to Angel. 10/10 in every way and I will definitely be back next time I am in Chicago.

Love the understated elegance of the Waldorf. The location is perfect and central to everything. Area is walkable with many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is “luxury” without being pretentious. I absolutely loved our room with a balcony and the staff was extremely accommodating and hospitable (a late checkout of 2pm is unheard of and so appreciated!).

We got an upgrade on the room without adding money, the room was great the view and amenities, staff and housekeeping did a great job.the Nespresso machine was a bonus and served us well, the property is beautiful and smells really good!
